Long Beach

This long, wide beach is a popular place to bring the kids. It is surprisingly pleasant for its urban environment. There is a bike path that runs from Alamitos Ave. to the end of Belmont Shore. Bluff Park runs along the Ocean Blvd. overlooking the beach.

The pier is a popular fishing spot. There is a bait shop, snack bar and portapotties at the end of the pier. Facilities include lifeguards, and bathrooms and showers at Juniperos Ave.
