Property amenities![]() The 16-story Wilshire Grand offers numerous services and amenities, including diverse dining, a popular lounge, boutiques, a business center, an activity desk, and a Metro stop across the street. What to expect: The action-packed lobby and reception area bustle with an international melting pot of conventioneers, vacationers, and business travelers. Local businesspeople do lunch and dinner in the hotel's restaurants, and let their hair down after work in the popular tiki lounge. Dress up or dress down, and stay geared for some great people-watching. Clean, enormous guestrooms are reminiscent of 1950s L.A. residential-style living. Amenity highlights: The hotel boasts an eclectic group of restaurants and lounges. The reserved Japanese dining room offers both sushi and tempura bars; the elegant Korean restaurant specializes in barbecue sans the smoke; the Italian spot features traditional favorites; the casual grill is gussied in mahogany; and the snazzy high-energy tiki lounge provides a fabulous foray into South Seas kitsch. Insider tip: The Red Line at the Metro station across the street will whisk you all the way to Hollywood and Universal Studios for less than $3, roundtrip. No transfers (and no traffic!) required.
