Beverly Hills - Le Meridien Beverly Hills: "Very Nice Hotel"
Reviewer: Los Angeles visitor, Bronxville, New York

This is a very nice hotel for several reasons. First and most important our room was wonderful. Located on the second floor with a patio on the interior courtyard, the room was large with nice blond wood furniture and soft colors. The marble bathroom was also spacious with shower and separate deep soaking tub. Second, the common areas are also very nice: lobby, meeting rooms, and resturant. Third, the location is great, you can walk to the Beverly Center and Robertson Bvld area. My only disapointments would be the pool area because it is pretty small and the workout room which is good size but has ugly out dated equipment. Over all this hotel is great, especially the rooms and a great value for LA.

Beverly Hills - Le Meridien Beverly Hills: "Cool, understated class"
Reviewer: Los Angeles visitor, London, UK

Truth be told, it's not really in Beverly Hills - it's on the edge of it - but all the better for it. The location is spot-on; a couple of blocks from the Beverly Centre shopping mall with cinema, restaurants (try excellent PF Changs China Bistro - sit at the bar - service & food top notch) and cab ride from Sunset Strip. Stayed at hotel twice and always find the staff really friendly and efficient. Make sure you get one of the new rooms (3rd floor are old - I think). Big cotton duvets, big bathrooms, chaise longue, hi-fi, and nice desk. Felt relaxed there - even on a business trip. Also really liked the fact that the bedside phone remote controlled the whole room! Most rooms are really quiet - but get one in the middle of building or rear facing. Not the cheapest, but it beats similarly priced awful hotels like the Beverly Hilton and Hollywood Roosevelt hands down.
